BLK Book Fair is a dynamic literary organization dedicated to uplifting and celebrating the voices of Afro-Canadian authors and creators of literature-based materials. Our mission is to create spaces where diverse stories thrive, providing opportunities for authors, readers, and the community to connect through the power of literature. We host a range of events, including book fairs, school presentations, networking events and interactive workshops that engage the community, nurturing a love for reading and writing, cultural representation, and empowerment. At BLK Book Fair, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling, and we strive to ensure that every voice is heard, and every story is shared.

   In partnership with BLK Men’s Style; we are their literary portion. BLK Men’s Style is a movement that disrupts preconceived notions of Black people; specifically men. BLK Book Fair has now come about to demonstrate that in addition to Black people's illuminating presence—there is depth to us; intelligence, creativity and more! Our goal is to create a platform where new and established authors (men, women and children) can help each other thrive; by working as a collective to bring attention to the literary talents and skills of Black Canadians. Through our union, we then hope to touch the minds of many generations of people who are willing to learn from us.
