Kabrena Robinson is an Afro-Jamaican, currently living in Toronto, Canada. She has an honours bachelor's degree in journalism and has done extensive work as a journalist and freelance writer, covering topics relating to culture, race, and the Caribbean-Canadian diaspora. Her main passion is being a mom to her 3-year-old daughter, Eva-Michelle, who inspires her daily to reconnect with her inner child and express her creativity in many ways. Her daughter's love for reading has influenced her keen interest in the world of children's books. She believes that diversity and positive representation are essential for kids to see in books they read. This has led her to start up her own publishing company, Eva-Michelle & Family Publishing https://evamichelleandfamily.com, hoping to assist other self-publishing authors like herself in bringing their stories to life.
