Michelle Joseph hails from Rexdale, Ontario and is a Toronto-based Writer, Blogger and Podcaster. She has been voraciously writing ever since she was an introspective shy high school student and nurtured her craft by dabbling in poetry - which she kept to herself. After graduating from university and feeling more confident with her writing, she started self-publishing a zine at a time when zines were not popular, especially by a woman of colour.
She published them for 4 years. Over the years Michelle enhanced her creativity by co-hosting a college talk radio show, creating a webzine with her friends, and subsequently launching the blog Words with Michelle. This blog allowed Michelle to not only express herself, but to showcase the works of people in the BIPOC community who inspired her. Her blog has spawned into her most recent love, podcasting.
